\"\"<\/a>One of the objectives of the strategy of the KUAS for 2021\u20132025 is to promote internationalization and expand international training opportunities for teachers and students. Therefore, on May 17-19, 2022, the training for lecturers of the Erasmus+ project \u201cQuality of Virtual Studies\u201d (coordinated by the KUAS) took place in the School of Coding (United Kingdom). Assoc. Prof. Rasa Tamulien\u0117 from the Oral Health Department, Aist\u0117 Pranskaityt\u0117-Bielevi\u010dien\u0117 from the Rehabilitation Department, Alina Liepinaitien\u0117 from the Nursing Department, Daiva Stankevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117-Volkauskien\u0117 from the Faculty of Business Communication Department and the Centre of Languages, and Edvinas Ignatavi\u010dius from the Centre of Languages have participated in the training in order to deepen their knowledge and share their experience and skills.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>During the training, the project participants got acquainted with various possibilities of the virtual learning classroom, tried out new systems and tools for learning, and gained experience and knowledge from other project partners. Partners from the Savonia University of Applied Sciences, \u00a0Finland were pleased that during the project all lecturers openly shared their experiences and at the same time adapted to the possibilities of implementing different learning environments in the educational process. After the training, participants will apply gained knowledge and create new virtual study subjects in their institutions according to the methodology developed during the project, enriching them with virtual learning tools. These four new elective virtual subjects will be tested in the Moodle system in the autumn semester with students from the participating higher education institutions from Finland, Spain, Lithuania and Croatia.<\/p>\n

The international project \u201cQuality of Virtual Studies\u201d (QVS) (No. 2020-1-LT01-KA226-HE-094740) involves 5 institutions from different European countries: Lithuania, Finland, Croatia, Spain, and England. The project has been launched in 2021 and is coordinated by KUAS. The project is aimed at educating HEI employees about pedagogical and technological innovations and sharing good practice in Europe. The aim of this project is to increase the quality of teaching\/learning in VLE and the study process by creating preconditions for the recognition of the acquired results during virtual mobility.<\/p>\n
